Folio QIFer - Folio Investment CSV files to QIF

Application Usage
  1. Select file to load using button (top left)
  2. Accounts in selected file are listed (alpha-numerically sorted) in the accounts list panel (left of the app)
  3. A file summary is displayed to the right of the accounts list.
  4. An individual account listing in the accounts list consists of:
    1. A check-box
    2. Account number
    3. A count of transactions in the account
    4. Mapped Actions' flag
    5. Computation errors' flag
A green tick indicates there are no issues while an alert icon (for actions) or warning triangle (for computations) denotes (at least) an issue. Hovering over the respective icon provides some information on the issue.
  5. If there are any file actions not mapped to QIF actions, a dialog is presented to map the respective actions.
  6. Clicking (or selecting) any account from the list will display an account summary (to the right of the file summary)
  7. Double clicking on an account will load all transactions in the account into the grid
    1. Transactions can be edited in the grid to correct computation errors before saving to QIF. NOTE: Only the Units, Price, Fees and Total colums should be edited.
    2. Selecting another account while another account's transactions are already loaded into the grid will display selected account details for 5 seconds then revert the account details back to the account with loaded transactions.
    3. To load another account's transactions, simply double click on the account in the list
  8. Write / Save QIF files for a select set of accounts by selecting the check-box of the respective account in the accounts list, then click on the Save Selected button.
  9. To write / save all accounts' QIF files, simply click on the Save All button.
  10. Securities in the file are logged and can be viewed via the Securities button. Security names (which are applied in the QIF file) can be edited here before saving the QIF files. NOTE: Do not edit the ticker.
  11. You can map file actions to QIF actions from the Mapping dialog. The dialog can alo be launched, with only the un-mapped actions, by double clicking on the Actions Not Mapped area within the File and Account details dashbords.

Any edits, whether in the securities dialog or the transactions' grid, are not persisted beyond the lifetime of the loaded file, and certainly not beyond app session. As such, you CAN make edits to multiple accounts (e.g to correct computation errors) then batch save their respective QIF files.
